Biography
With a love of all things music, performance and entertainment, Acoustic Audiophile seeks to continually develop, create, and share their musical artistry. Having started playing at a young age, Acoustic Audiophile has acquired years of experience playing to crowds of all sizes. Consisting of a father daughter duo, Chris Schmidt has played in numerous rock bands on lead guitar and vocals throughout the East Coast and Texas areas. He is a life long musician and has played guitar for over 40 years. Caitlin Schmidt is a graduate of the University of North Texas and holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education with her primary instrument being saxophone. In Acoustic Audiophile, Caitlin performs lead vocals, piano, and various wind instruments. Today, Acoustic Audiophile, is available for events to compliment the style and setting of any occasion. We offer an affordable, intimate, enjoyable live music experience.
